What a 12kVA solar system can carry

4–5 bedroom home or office with 10–15 staff in Lagos, where 2–3 ACs run all day.

    Air Conditioning

    2–3 units (1.5HP) together

12kVA carries 2 units continuously with a third in sunshine hours. 30kWh keeps 2 running well into the night.

    Refrigeration

2 fridges, or 1 fridge and 1 large chest freezer, around the clock

    Lighting

Full property lighting including outdoor and security lights

    Fans

    5–6 ceiling fans

    TVs & Devices

4 TVs and 8–10 laptops or workstations

    Water Pump

    1HP submersible borehole pump: yes

    Washing Machine

    Yes, 1–2 loads a day

    Not recommended

Industrial compressors, three-phase welding, or electric water heaters as continuous loads.

How long the battery lasts at night

    30kWh battery (InfraSol Home 11)

At a typical night-time load of 2.5kW (1 AC, fridge and lights), the 30kWh battery runs for about 10.8 hours. The cheaper version's 15kWh runs for about 5.4 hours.

    30kWh battery (InfraSol Home 12)

At a typical night-time load of 3kW (1–2 ACs, fridge and security lights), the 30kWh battery runs for about 9 hours. The cheaper version's 15kWh runs for about 4.5 hours.

15kWh or 30kWh: how to choose

Both 12kVA versions use the same SRNE inverter and the same 18 panels, so they carry the same load in the day. What changes is how long they keep going after sunset: the 30kWh battery carries two ACs well into the night, the 15kWh one about half as long.

Choose by your nights, not your days. If the house fills up in the evening with ACs running until morning, battery is what you are paying for. If you are home or working through the day, the 15kWh version with more of your load served straight from the panels pays back faster, and a second pack can be added later.

The 11kVA Aurora system is the cheaper way to this size. Take the SRNE if you may need more power later: it runs in parallel, so a second unit turns it into a 24kVA system.

What it saves, and when it pays for itself

Monthly savings against what Lagos homes and businesses pay today for grid and diesel. The middle figure is our base case; the range runs from a Band A home to a site with little grid supply.

    Pay small small: payment plans

Lease-to-Own: 30% down, the balance over 3 monthly payments, and the system is yours at the end. On the ₦7.5M system that is ₦2,239,200 down and 3 payments of ₦1,847,125.

Energy as a Service: nothing upfront. A flat monthly fee of 50–60% of what you spend on power today, and we own and maintain the system.
