The Challenge
This Lekki homeowner was determined to achieve complete energy independence. With a 4-bedroom household running multiple air conditioning units, a large fridge-freezer, and a full suite of electronics, monthly electricity and diesel costs were punishing. The family was tired of rationing power — deciding which rooms got AC, which devices to unplug, and constantly monitoring fuel levels in the generator.
The Solution
InfraSol installed a 10 kWp solar array optimally angled for Lagos's solar irradiance, connected to a Deye 11 kVA hybrid inverter capable of handling the household's full load including air conditioning. Two 10 kWh LiFePO₄ battery units (20 kWh total) store enough energy to carry the home from sunset through the night. The system was sized for near-total independence — no compromises on comfort. Purchased outright at ₦8M.
